Video 1 (ART321): An introduction to moving image in contemporary art with an emphasis on the history of early video, and single channel video production.
This course is made up of viewing & discussion, technical workshops, and creative production.

Intermedia 2 (ART322): Students move beyond single channel production to explore video to explore multi-channel video, video installation, interactivity, projection and spatial sound works.
This course culminates with a public exhibition produced, installed and promoted by the students. Exhibition examples : Student Produced Exhibitions

Intermedia 3 (ART323) and Intermedia 4 (ART424): continues an exploration into the various formal, conceptual, and technical approaches to experimental time based media and moving image.
Emphasis is on the development of artistic voice, and developing individualized skills and techniques. Students complete 3 open assignments.

Expanded Video and Projection Mapping: An introduction to working with projected video, and using Isadora for live video effects and VPT 7 for projection mapping.
Students worked collaboratively to create an immeriseve environment using live video, projection and sound. Taught at Merz Akademie, Stuttgart Germany Spring 2017.

       



Participatory TV: Students worked collaboratively to create a series of live streaming events. Topics covered in the course included: artist produced television, experimental broadcasts, YouTube and the Internet. 
Class structure combined viewing, discussion, and creative production. Taught at Merz Akademie, Stuttgart, Germany Spring 2017.
